Marginimea Sibiului is a string of old shepherding villages spread along the hills. Jina is the highest of them. Above it the pastures open, the air goes clean and thin, and the hotel sits on the ridge with nothing in the way of the view.

The ridge

You come up through the village, the road keeps climbing, and then it just stops here.
